What is the best type of adhesive or cement for applying beads or metal charms to glass?
I have some stones with a flat surface that I would like to adhere to some glass as well as a flat back metal charm. I would like to decorate ceramic, glass mugs or votive glasses for my friends bridal shower. I do not want to have to worry about the items falling of if it is washed or used for a votive candle. I also want something non toxic. What is the best type of cement or adhesive to use?
First of all it is silicone, not silicon.
Second E6000 IS silicone and is stiffer when set than 100% silicone adhesive sold in hardware stores for caulk and adhesive.
When silicone adhesives are set, they are non-toxic.
E6000 is self-leveling (a bit soupy) the GOOP glues are made by the same company but stand up a bit more and stink less. I use GOOP Craft for things like this. Some people make a small puddle of E6000 and dip the pieces in. E6000 will give a thinner joint with less hassle.
Both E6000 and GOOP are labeled as contact adhesives, which means if you apply some, push parts together, take them apart for 20 seconds and push together again, they will not move on their own and you will have trouble shifting them. You can clean squeezeout during the 20 seconds. You can also use them like other glues – apply and push together, but you may have to tape pieces or put flat to keep from sliding.

Is it safe to burn a dismantled swing set made of wood? It looks like it was treated with something chemical.?
I think it’s wood stain… but it’s one of those build-it-yourself swing sets that come out of a box. Would the lumber be treated with some hazardous chemicals?
Never burn coated, painted or pressure-treated wood, plywood, particle board or any wood coated or permeated with glue. All of these can release dangerous toxin when burned. Some wood has been related to arsenic poisoning and some wood smoke has been found to contain carcinogens. If you are not 100% sure of what it is, don’t risk it.

How to clean bean bag chair covered in cat hair?
We have a white cat who sheds like crazy. We own two bean bag chairs made of washable materials, but they are absolutely covered in the cat hair. I want to unzip them from the bean bag and wash the covers but will this be okay for my washer and dryer? Any other ways/tips to clean cat hair from furniture? Thanks a bunch.
I would suggest vacuum the covers first then putting them in the wash! That way most of the hair will come of when you vacuum and what is left will not ruin your washer and dryer.
