Aluminum Flag Pole
How can I get a rope to go around the pulley at the top of a pole of 30 ‘flag?
The top of the flagpole has two holes and a pulley. The rope must go through one hole, through the pulley and then down through another hole. Cool, but is 30 ‘away. Naturally, the flagpole can come down. It is a tapered aluminum sleeve that comes out of a job easy. The problem is that is quite heavy. How can I leave it down without an accident? Any ideas? Thank you.
Get a telescoping aluminum pole, 62 feet of rope and a sharp object like a thing pencil thick. Connect the end of the string to an object to act as a trainer of a needle. Use the pole to get sharp object in the thread to the hole and pulley, thread through (may take a few tries) and dropped the object, threading the yarn. Then at the end of the line, place the rope and pull through.
