Confederate Flag. A confederate flag can actually add something different to an otherwise boring yard or garden.
How can you be an American Patriot and still wave the Confederate flag?
I understand the argument that the Confederate flag shouldn’t be connected with racism ( though people should just suck it up and realize that most of society does) but the confederate flag was used to symbolize that the South wished to be a different country than the United States, you can’t be a confederate and an American, you are one or the other. So can I hear the arguments against this?

Most of the society in your neighborhood thinks that. The south makes up a massive chunk of American society, and most people there disagree.
As to the actual question: Anyone who believes the Confederacy was right must also believe that America has gone off course from what it was supposed to be. And anyone who tries to reinstill those things they believe are lacking in Modern America is, at least in their view, trying to improve their native country, and by definition therefore, a patriot.
Only dictators and lackeys believe that patriotism is agreeing with your country 100% of the time.
