We live in a world where people forgot their education on how to respect our flag and our country, our flag is the symbol our pride and honor for our country. Our flag flies proudly to represent the sacrifices of all men and women who gave their lives so that we live in a country free. Through the years people have not only lost their pride for our country and our flag, but they have also forgotten how properly care for or even how and when to fly our flag.
50 years ago many people could fly, how to store and destroy worn a flag unfortunately things have changed. On this day, few people know the right brand label. Most people rely on Scouts Military or to know the proper flag etiquette, many schools have stopped teaching proper etiquette flag and singing the national anthem more. How many houses with flags on them what’s happening in your neighborhood? We should be seeing flags in all stores, home and school. Instead, I only see one or two flags on my way to work, in the homes of people every day. Does it seem strange that there are only some scattered flags?
Some indicators are torn and ripped and continues flying! That’s wrong, what happened to our respect for our flag and country? I’m not saying that everyone has forgotten the proper etiquette flags. What I am saying is that many people have lost their understanding of the meaning of our flag.
